<p>Below is a listing of the equipment and programs commonly found in fitness studios:</p>
<p>* Treadmill</p>
<p>This is a piece of sporting equipment that allows the user to run without actually moving a distance. The word treadmill is used to refer to a kind of mill which is run to grind grain.</p>
<p>The treadmill operates by the principle called belt system in which the top side of the belt runs to the rear so that the runner could run the same distance. Therefore, the speed of the mill can be measured or set since the rate of the belt equals the rate of the runner.</p>
<p>* Weight training</p>
<p>Weight training is under the strength training program designed to develop the size of skeletal muscles and physical strength. It uses the principle of gravity; the trainee&#8217;s force would be used to oppose the pull of the earth. This weight training makes use of different kinds of equipment to develop specific groups of muscles. Dumbbells, weighted bars or weight stacks are the most commonly used.</p>
<p>* Cycling</p>
<p>Cycling is commonly done by people who want to improve their cardiovascular health and fitness. In this view, cycling is particularly beneficial for those suffering from arthritis and for those who are not fitted to play rigid sports like running which require strength of the joints.</p>
<p>* Swimming</p>
<p>Swimming is a very good exercise. Swimming is also usually recommended for those who with disabilities or who want to rehabilitate after injuries.</p>
<p>* Racquetball</p>
<p>Racquetball is a sport game where racquets are used along with a hollow rubber ball. This can be played either in indoor or outdoor courts. Unlike other racquet sports like badminton and tennis, the usage of the floor, ceiling, and walls of the court is legal instead of out-of-bounds. Two players are involved in the game, although some variations of this game have three and four players.</p>
<p>* Aerobics</p>
<p>Aerobic classes usually include stepping patterns, done with music and signals directed by an instructor. Researches show that aerobic is one of the healthiest exercises. Aerobics, literally meaning &#8220;with oxygen&#8221;, helps the body to use consume the oxygen more efficiently by training the lungs and heart. This helps to reduce stress and to control weight. </p>
<p>* Basketball</p>
<p>While this very common sport is an indoor game, other variations have been popular as this sport can also be played outdoors.</p>
<p>* Yoga<br />
Yoga focuses on meditation. It is considered as a way to both spiritual and physiological mastery. </p>
<p>* Martial arts</p>
<p>Martial arts are structures of arranged traditions and practices of combat training. Martial arts today are not just being learned for combat purposes, but also for fitness, self-defense, mental discipline, self-cultivation, and character development.</p>
<p>* Physical therapy</p>
<p>Physical therapy deals in maximizing and identifying movement potential in promotion, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation. This includes services that are concerned with circumstances where function and movement are threatened by injury, disease, or ageing.</p>

Exercising is the most natural way of losing that extra flab in your body and it is also the best way to keep your heart healthy. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Whether you&#8217;re under 30, a yuppie in your mid-20s or a teenager in college, loving your body and engaging in a regular exercise work-out plan is always a fool-proof way to a healthier you. Physical fitness is your body&#8217;s ability to do tasks and leisure activities. It is your body&#8217;s capacity to withstand stress, endure and perform certain tasks under certain circumstances. </p>
<p>Physical fitness talks about an over-all focus on the body ? the heart, the lungs, the muscles, and the other organs of the body. Your body&#8217;s fitness is dependent on your physical limitations and capacities as well as your lifestyle ? the food you eat and your daily habits. </p>
<p>Here&#8217;s a backgrounder on the different components of physical fitness. There&#8217;s endurance, the body&#8217;s ability to sustain oxygen and nutrients to tissues over a sustained period of time. Strength, on the other hand, is the ability of the muscle to exert force for a period of time. Flexibility is the ability to move joints and use muscles in a wide range of activities and movements. Swimming, running and jogging are some of the activities that can build endurance while pushups and weight lifting are good for building muscle strength. </p>
<p>Your workout should include activities that should develop these components. Remember to have a warm-up before starting your work-out. A warm-up conditions and prepares the muscles for the more rigorous activities of your work-out plan. At the same time, it should end with a cool down, a moment wherein the muscles are given time to relax after a heavy work-out session. Remember not to overdo your exercise. A daily walk may sound good, but a daily session of pushups may do more harm than good to your muscles. Space your physical activities such that the body is used to a variety of physical activities, ranging from the simple to the more complex, from cardiovascular exercises to strength exercises. Two to three work-out sessions for a week is a good way to start. As you progress in your activities, you can now increase the frequency or duration of your exercises. </p>
<p>Take note of your diet. If you&#8217;re exercising because you want to lose weight at the same time build up your fitness, then the less calorie intake you have the better. Cycling can burn 240-410 calories while jogging can burn 740-920 calories. In general, avoid salty food and sweets. Avoid alcohol, caffeine and nicotine. Lessen your intake of saturated fat and take lots of water. </p>
<p>Of course, keeping fit and staying fit means listening to your body. Allow your body to adjust with each change in routine and exercises. If you&#8217;re experiencing cramps, dizziness or prolonged weakness, stop your work-out and consult a doctor. And most of all, never be discouraged. Take note, achieving the body you want is not an overnight miracle. </p>
<p>A physically fit body does not only spell abs to die for and a flab-free stomach. It also means lesser chances of acquiring lifestyle-related diseases like diabetes and heart disease. It also spells a more active and alert mind, improved ability to cope with stress, and more reserved energy for your daily activities. And let&#8217;s not forget a more confident YOU!</p>

<p>It is stated in the Bible that our body is our temple. Therefore, it is our obligation to preserve it. For this reason, maintaining the health of both the mind and the body is a noble act. </p>
<p>But of course, this involves a great amount of effort as well as thorough actions. Anyhow, no matter how tough it will be, the fruit is very rewarding. A happy and healthy life, not all is privileged to have it, only the diligent few. </p>
<p>Fitness exercise is very important on ones routine. Through fitness exercise, people are able to fight several diseases. One of which is the killer disease, the heart disease. </p>
<p>Sadly, more and more people nowadays tend to ignore this kind of activity. Hence, more and more people too are suffering from different diseases. No wonder hospital businesses are prospering by gaining lots of clients, even it is against the will of these patients. </p>
<p>In fact, the suggested activities for fitness and health by the Council of the President on Physical Fitness and the Surgeon General are not generally followed by high school students nowadays. This covers the 33 percent of its population throughout the United States. </p>
<p>The attitude of neglecting physical fitness of these youths is usually carried by them as they turn into adulthood. Of course, there will be an increase on the number of sufferers from various diseases caused by weak resistance. </p>
<p>The National Institute on Aging showed a report that America comprises only 58 percent of its people who are engaging in a program of lifetime fitness. And this fitness program is done only in their free time. Only about 26 percent are regularly performing the lifetime fitness program. Most often, about three times each week. </p>
<p>The importance of a commitment to lifetime exercise is always being stressed. However, more people often times neglect it. Frequently, people use to disregard the fact that it can really do an enhancement on the value of one&#8217;s life.</p>
<p>Most probably you have already heard that the common causes of deaths in this country are heart disease, stroke, accidents caused by unintended injuries, cancer and chronic lower respiratory ailments. These diseases are actually the five most common causes of deaths yearly as reported by the Center for Disease Control.</p>
<p>Think about it. All of the mentioned common causes of deaths can easily be avoided. But only if people will give enough attention on fitness exercise, much more if they commit themselves into lifetime fitness. But definitely, accidental deaths are excluded. </p>
<p>When referring to lifetime fitness program, we are not only dealing on physical exercise. But also, this program includes a diet that needs to be observed. </p>
<p>It is very imminent that with lifetime commitment of physical fitness, life will be lengthened. And definitely be enjoyed. With a healthy mind and body you can enjoy life more, you can pick more daisies. </p>
<p>The last sell is yours. Will you be cautious of your health and commit to lifetime fitness? Or do you just prefer to abuse it and suffer more in the end?</p>

<p>One of most growing form of women exercise is associated with strength training. It does not only cater to fat loss but also provides several benefits. It includes metabolic rate increase, bone density increase and restoration, lean muscles mass increase, injury prevention, improved balance, coronary disease prevention, recovery and rehabilitation, sports performances improvement, delayed aging process, and look and figure enhancement. </p>
<p>Before beginning a strength training program, you need to consult a doctor. This will ensure your safety and proper fitness.  In fact, creating routines for strength training is one of the trickiest portions of your fitness program. But if you follow the guidelines provided by some personal trainers, then you can increase your chances of becoming  successful with your fitness objectives. </p>
<p>1.	You can never strength train your muscle in one day. Minimum time allocations of 24 to 36 hours must be followed. Consecutive days of doing the exercises can lead to muscle fatigue, possible injury, and overtraining. Rests are required to regain lost energy.</p>
<p>2.	You cannot lose your weight instantly. For example losing excess stomach fats cannot be achieved by doing only 100 crunches. Stomach flab doesn&#8217;t easily disappear in that way. Overall reduction of body fats must be done first by proper rest, regular exercise, and eating well. </p>
<p>3.	You cannot tone your body immediately. Step by step procedure should be followed. You need to concentrate on one muscle group. Once you are through, you can proceed to your next target. Considering the use of machines is much better than using free weights only. </p>
<p>4.	Your strength training programs should be consistent and regular to ensure successful results. Keep in mind that you have gained weight for years, so losing it also takes time. Your strength training requires a change in your lifestyle. Bad habits must be replaced with good ones.  </p>
<p>5.	Strength training requires changes every 4 to 6 weeks. It will prevent your body from getting bored and keep workouts more interesting. You need to change your exercise method, and intensity levels. Unchanged routines sometimes stop producing good results in the end. You need to grow from your daily workouts. </p>
<p>6.	Your strength training programs need to be created according to your specific objectives. It can include, hypertrophy, adding bulk, fat loss, or maintaining weight. Every objective has also different methods for acquiring optimal results. If you are interested in body fat loss, your strength training is different compared to increasing bulks in your muscles. You need specific goals to create the best possible strength training program. </p>
<p>7.	Your regular routine should workout all your major muscles 1 to 3 times a week. It includes the triceps, chest, shoulders, biceps, quads, calves, abs, hamstring, and gluts. It creates imbalance if you missed any one of the muscle groups. </p>
<p>Women who follow these guidelines can build an effective and decent strength training program. Achieving a healthy and fit body is also safe. So, be ready to achieve that beautiful body you have always dreamt of.</p>

<p>EFS were founded by Dave Tate after he made an assessment in some internet sources about sports training.  Many coaches as well as athletes are searching for training advices but do not get the best and comprehensive information. So, EFS was created to answer this demand. </p>
<p>Dave was once an elite strength athlete. For twenty years in the fitness world, he has encountered every training program and equipment in the industry. <p>5.	Accepting that regardless of the amount of money being charged if the services are good, the client will always come back. </p>
<p>6.	Knowing the distinction between a client and a prospect. Someone who pays for the services is a client, while someone who may hire you or not is a prospect. </p>
<p>7.	Accepting that selling services and products is an important skill that must be learned by personal trainers. Helping more people means becoming more proficient when closing sales. </p>
<p>8.	Knowing that people are hiring personal trainers if they see options that are less expensive. These people can be the best prospects. </p>
<p>9.	Understanding that you have the freedom for setting your sales appointments. The most valuable asset you have is time. Meet prospects with greater possibility of hiring you. </p>
<p>10.	Knowing that people more often make their purchasing decisions emotionally. Make the prospect emotional to sell the services easily. </p>
<p>11.	Realizing that it is a sale if the money is already paid to you. Ensure that your plan is effective, so let the prospect pay you before the end of the sales appointment. </p>
<p>12.	Setting the appointment immediately after talking to the prospect. People can be easily distracted. As much as possible, meet prospects who consider fitness as their first priority. </p>
<p>13.	Understanding that people are lovers of buying things. However, are haters of being sold things. Guide your prospects and ask them appropriate questions to encourage them in purchasing your services. </p>
<p>EFS customers became their greatest source of advertising. They put customer&#8217;s success first in their training programs. In return, they developed their passion on the EFS by doing business repeatedly and visiting their websites daily.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Starting out on any project is hard. Almost every individual is like that; it is always hard to begin with a certain activity. Ever wonder why it&#8217;s always like this when starting out?</p>
<p>While it may be hard for certain individuals, for some it&#8217;s really easy to start something new, but the problem is they can&#8217;t finish it. It is a well-known fact that many individuals are able to start a certain activity but as they go along with it, they often find themselves taking a different course. Some say that it is a basic nature of humans and that they often put off what they can do today for tomorrow. The fact is this is also true with health, fitness, and diet.</p>
<p>If by nature humans are like that, then prove to them that they are wrong. Start pursuing your dreams of attaining a healthy and fit state. You have to do your best to pursue any activity that you begun and make sure that you stay on track. When it comes to your health, fitness, and diet regimen, you shouldn&#8217;t settle for anything less. </p>
<p>The best way is to set your intended goals. Be certain that your goals are realizable, attainable and realistic. Don&#8217;t go for unrealistic ones because you won&#8217;t get anywhere and it&#8217;s far too out of reach. Identify your health, fitness, and diet needs, and after doing so, set your goals right away.  Try to make goals only for yourself, especially if you&#8217;re just starting out with this kind of activity.</p>
<p>Some people want to get in the best shape, all muscular and strong; but in order to succeed; you must have the right drive. Get the motivation you need. Tell your family and friends that you&#8217;re finally starting to live a healthy and fit life, and that includes having a healthy diet. If they find out that you&#8217;re doing a really tough job, then they will always make it a point to encourage you and boost your energy level. </p>
<p>When you say diet, it doesn&#8217;t necessarily mean that you have to skip meals or eat very little. By choosing the healthy food items and eating them in moderate amounts, you already have a healthy diet. If you&#8217;re obese, you&#8217;re more prone to certain health problems that can give you a lot of headache in the long run; but that doesn&#8217;t leave you with the option of getting too skinny. You&#8217;re bound to suffer from certain health illnesses too. The secret is to just stay in shape, all healthy and fit.</p>
<p>It seems that health, fitness, and diet are all intertwined. If one of the three is absent, you can&#8217;t achieve your goal. Good fitness exercises and a healthy diet are two important things that you should consider. </p>
<p>If you have no idea what fitness exercises are, then do a little research in the library or on the Internet. You can get a list of fitness exercises that suits you best, and how to properly perform them. Another thing, you can get copies of healthy recipes in case you&#8217;re not used to eating a healthy diet.</p>
